As the voting of board members for the ISDRS has finished and the ballots are counted, we are happy to announce the results.
Of all Green+ members invited to vote, 40.2% has voted.
All nominees have received enough votes to be elected. This means all 7 board members that were to be re-elected, remain in the board of the ISDRS.
And both of our new nominees have also received enough votes. So we can welcome them both to our board.
Board members who are re-elected: Pontus Cerin, Peter Dobers, Martina Keitsch, Shobhana Madhavan, Arun Sahay, Peter Schlosser and Richard Welford.
And a special welcome to our two new board members: Olawale Olayide and Joachim Spangenberg.
With great pleasure we would like to announce the winner of the best paper competition during the last conference in Trondheim. Every year we have a best paper competition where each track chair nominates a paper. All the nominated papers are finally judged by the scientific committee.
This year the winner of the competition is Erika Quendler with the paper: Resilience as an inclusive approach for sustainable, good life – a concept.

Revised charter of ISDRS approved
The International Sustainable Development Research Society was registered in 2006 and operated under its charter since 2011. In order to be capable to deal with the challenges of a growing society it was necessary to adapt this fundamental document. The charter describes the basic governance structure, defines rules and responsibilities as well as rights of all society members.
Main changes reflected the new membership structure (followers, green and green+ members) and describes more specifically both the role of board members and executive functions within the board as well as voting rights for so-called green+ members. The renewed charter specifies also the tasks for the new working groups, which serve in addition to our annual conference as platform for the main intention of ISDRS – encouraging scientific discourse and transdisciplinary research about Sustainable Development.
You can now view the ISDRS Revised Charter.
This is the second post. You are all very welcome to the 18th ISDRS Conference in Hull starting this Sunday in Hull. Have a good trip!
