Call for contributions for ISDRS Newsletter

Dear ISDRS members,

We invite you to submit your contribution for the upcoming second quarter 2024's issue of the ISDRS Newsletter by 30 April 2024. Your contribution could be a short blog about recent publications, conference announcements, call for papers, grant awards, scholarships, job opportunities, and other relevant information.

In addition to submitting content for the newsletter, we would also like to invite you to provide us with content for our social media. The communications team has been working hard to improve our social media output. Please visit our page and follow it! We are also working hard to improve our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages.

To provide content for social media, please email communication@isdrs.org and socialmedia@isdrs.org with:

  • An image
  • 5 key words
  • 2 lines about the image
You do not have to be on social media yourself to provide content. If you have an image from a fieldtrip, meeting, a new book or article or any other relevant sustainable development news, just provide us with the details and we can promote it for you on social media. If you are on social media, please remember to engage and help spread the word throughout your network.

The ideal length is between 500-2000 words, the article must be in English and follow the general rules of academic publishing. We also welcome articles and essays which fill the gap between journal/conference abstracts and official journal publications.
