PhD Day Programme
One of the key initiatives undertaken by the NPG is the organization of the PhD Day at the annual ISDRS conference. This day-long event is dedicated to supporting PhD students in their academic pursuits.
What is the PhD day all about?
We provide a platform for PhD students to present their research ideas and receive valuable feedback from peers and experienced researchers. In addition to traditional presentations, the PhD Day also offers a variety of workshops and interactive sessions designed to enhance the skills and knowledge on research and publications.
The NPG is committed to providing early-career researchers with a meaningful support that they need to succeed in their academic endeavors and make their mark in the field of sustainable development.
If you are an early-career researcher and passionate about sustainable development, we invite you to join the ISDRS New Professionals Group. Together, we can create a community of support and collaboration, contributing towards our better and sustainable future.
What are benefits:
- Improve research writing skills with valuable and practical insights on writing and publishing scientific work.
- Network with peers from diverse backgrounds and explore potential collaborations that can advance your research.
- Receive feedback on your research work from other researchers, mentors, and experienced professionals.
How is eligible?
This Programme is primarily aimed at ISDRS members (paying the conference registration fee automatically grants you an ISDRS membership for one year).
