Dr Katarzyna Cichos is researcher at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She holds master's degrees in laws (2005-2010) and a Doctorate (2010-2016) in Law. Her research interests include international law, diplomatic law, and legal and institutional aspects of sustainable development. She examines the obstacles to SDG implementation at local, state and international level. She worked for or cooperated with different stakeholders including local governments, NGOs, CSOs, Ministry of Economy, Office of the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights, and religious groups, investigating how legal instruments might increase the effectiveness of different stakeholders' cooperation for sustainability. She published several articles, books and book chapters on legal and institutional aspects of sustainability.
