Olawale Emmanuel Olayide is the track Chair on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Production, the Chair, Engagement Group on Africa, and member of the track on Industrial Ecology. He holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr Olayide is currently a Research Fellow with the Centre for Centre for Sustainable Development (CESDEV), University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He was Research Fellow with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA-Ibadan) from 2004 to 2006, and consultant to the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), 2009-2010. He has expertise in agricultural production and food security, sustainable rural development, climate change and environmental studies, welfare analysis, governance and gender analysis, resource economics, industrial ecology, macroeconomic modeling, impact assessment, poverty analysis, value chain analysis, product development and marketing of agricultural commodities, including underutilized species.
